In The Kingdom of Boti Postcard

Located in the mountainous area of Central South Timor, East Nusa Tenggara, the village of Boti is a shining example of how tradition can still survive amidst a torrent of high-tech modernity. In Boti, the staff of leadership steadfastly transfers from the king to the prince of each generation and the solemn tradition of the local Halaika religion is fiercely defended. It’s a slow life in Boti, where the men tend the fields and the women keep the home while producing charming handcrafts in their spare time.
